One of the most difficult types of windows to properly cover in any home is a bay window. Bay windows consist of 3, 5 or even 7 panels of tall, usually narrow, windows which protrude out from a home’s normal wall line. Bow windows, which are similar to bay windows, do about the same thing. So what’s the difference between a bow and bay window? Bow windows are usually much more curved to the eye while bay windows tend to be almost be separate windows with definite angle differences between one another. Essentially, bow windows are curved, bay windows are angled. Whatever you have, bay or bow window, giving them a proper window treatment can be tricky.
